  19. Someone said in a different post that the single board modems have a mechanical
  20. relay which you can hear pick up and drop the phone line, while the daughter board
  21. models are silent.  I have a single board Courier, and it definetly makes audible 
  22. clicks.  Have never been around a daughter board type, so can't verify this.
